Since the 1980s Galerie Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman has been presenting, in carefully prepared solo exhibitions, overviews of the works of some of the most important Austrian artists after 1945. With special attention to abstraction, Actionism and the change from sculpture to object. Over the years, many solo exhibitions with corresponding publications have been developed in close collaboration with precisely those artists.

Due to the exhibition "THE BEGINNING" at Albertina Modern in Vienna, we dedicated our fair presentation to works by Bruno Gironcoli, Oswald Oberhuber, Hermann Nitsch, Walter Pichler, Arnulf Rainer and Hans Staudacher as well as Max Weiler.
This selection will be completed by works by Gunter Damisch and by Herbert Brandl, who according to the Austrian Economy Magazine "trend" is currently ranked as Austria's most important living artist.
